Gorilla® Double Sided Tape is made with a strong adhesive that is thick on both sides for a strong bond. This tape is great for securing items indoors and outdoors.

Gorilla® Double Sided Tape adheres to smooth and rough surfaces including carpet, flooring, wood, stone, brick, metal, vinyl, plastic, paper and more.

Instructions

For best results, apply tape to clean, even surfaces at room temperature. Both surfaces must have complete contact.

Hold the liner on tape, cut or tear to the desired length.

Place tape on desired area. Rub entire surface and remove liner.

Align the object to the tape and press firmly.

Note: May damage surface if removed. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use to hang heavy objects.

Tip: To remove the blue liner from Gorilla® Double Sided Tape, cut a small notch into the tape at the desired length with scissors.
Tear the piece at the beginning of the small notch. If the tape is torn, the blue liner may stretch, making it easier to pull the liner off the tape.

FAQ

Does Gorilla® Double Sided Tape work on plastic/vinyl/rubber?

Gorilla® Double-Sided Tape contains a highly concentrated rubber-based adhesive and adheres to most types of plastic, including polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).

Gorilla® Double-Sided Tape will not work on materials with high oil or plasticizer content, such as EPDM rubber or PVC. An acrylic tape, such as Gorilla® Crystal Clear Gorilla Tape, may be better suited for these materials.

Is Gorilla® Double-Sided Tape food safe?

Gorilla® Double-Sided Tape is not recommended for direct or indirect food contact and should not be considered food safe.

Can Gorilla® Double-Sided Tape be used to hang objects on vertical surfaces?

Gorilla® Double-Sided Tape can be used to hang lightweight items such as paper or foam boards. Please note that Gorilla® Double-Sided Tape may damage the surface if removed. Gorilla® Mounting Tape may be better suited for hanging heavier items.
