Instructions

Before use: Read the instructions and test a small area for adhesion.

Surface must be clean, dry and free of debris. For best adhesion on smooth, non-porous materials, lightly roughen surface before use. Ideal application temperature range is 50 to 95°F (10 to 35°C). Once fully cured, adhesive can withstand temperatures from -40 to 200°F (-40 to 93°C) intermittently. Unscrew cap. Puncture seal at neck of tube using pointed cap.

For repairs: Apply directly to surfaces to be bonded or repaired. For repairs to rubber and non-porous surfaces: Carefully degrease the area to be bonded, wipe the area with alcohol, let dry. Sprinkle with water and apply adhesive to mating substrates. Pull substrates apart and re-clamp.

For waterproofing and protective: Apply in thin layers (spreading with a disposable tool) to build a thick coating, allowing each layer to cure 3-4 hours. For waterproofing rubber and non-porous surfaces: Gently prime the area to bond, wipe the area with alcohol, allow to dry. Spray with water and apply in thin layers as described above.*

APPLICATION TO WET SURFACES: For quick emergency repairs, lightly dampen the substrate with moisture before applying adhesive. Application to damp and wet surfaces may slightly affect adhesion.

Remove the air in the tube by squeezing the product almost to the end of the opening, then replace the cap.

Allow 24-48 hours for full cure. Depending on substrate and temperature, maximum bond strength may not be reached for up to 3 days.

Clean uncured adhesive with alcohol, white spirit, acetone or a dry cloth. Cured material may be removed with white spirit or by cutting or scraping. Not recommended for use on acrylic, vinyl, foam, polyethylene and polypropylene.
Use Original Shoe GOO for application to vinyl materials. Store in a cool, dry place.

*Ice can be used when applied as a coating to easily spread over the surface.
