Instructions

Follow these steps when using the E6000 Premium:

  1. Read the instructions for use and test on a small area first. The surface must be clean, dry and free of dirt. For best results, it is recommended to lightly roughen the surface before use.
  2. Puncture the seal in the neck of the tube with the tip in the cap. Ideal working temperature is 10–32°C. Once fully cured, the adhesive will withstand temperatures from -40 to 82°C intermittently.
  3. Apply glue directly to both surfaces to be bonded. Allow the glue to set for approximately 2 minutes before joining the surfaces.
  4. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours. Depending on the materials and temperature, maximum strength may not be achieved until 48–72 hours.
  5. To make opening the cap easier later, apply a thin layer of Vaseline to the tube threads before screwing the cap back on. Uncured glue can be cleaned with acetone or citrus-based solvents. Cured glue can be removed by cutting or scraping it away.

Note:May damage finished surfaces. Avoid contact with such surfaces until adhesive is fully cured. Not recommended for use on Styrofoam™ or paper products. Not suitable for items that come into contact with food, drinking water or animals. Do not dry clean.
